Day 1. Arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok

Upon arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, you will be met and greeted by the fast track representative at the air-bridge, who will whisk you through immigration. Your luggage will be brought to the arrivals hall where your guide and air conditioned vehicle will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Bangkok. On the way your guide will provide you with some background information about the city and its rich history as well as Thai culture in general. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2. Bangkok (B, L)

Bangkok is an eclectic mix of the ancient and the modern, with quaint river canals and golden temples mixed with modern architecture. An early start will get you to Wat Pho temple in time to experience the early morning sutra ritual and inspire your visit to the temple grounds and the famous 45-metre reclining Buddha. Continue to the Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important landmark. Lunch is at The Eatery, Sala Rattanakosin, with the Chao Phraya river view. Depart for Wat Saket, make a short climb up the Golden Mount to enjoy a panoramic view of Rattanakosin Island and hear the chimes of hundreds of temple bells. A short walk nearby is Soi Ban Batra, a handicraft community famed for creating monk’s alms bowls. Continue to Jim Thompson’s mansion for a guided tour of the house and its Asian antiques. This teak mansion was home to the charismatic American silk millionaire who spent years filling it with beautiful, priceless antiques before disappearing in mysterious circumstances. Then enjoy the rest of your time today at leisure exploring Bangkok or shopping. Our guides will be happy to help direct your plans. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3. Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Bangkok (B, L)

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ayutthaya – the second historical capital city of Thailand founded in 1350. First, visit Bang Pa In to see the summer palace built by King Rama IV. At a time of growing European influence in Thailand the palace and surrounding temples are Italian-inspired. Beside the river is Wat Niwet Thammapawat, a gothic style temple. Board the traditional rice barge Thanatharee at Wat Kasatra pier and enjoy your private lunch cruise on the Chao Phraya River. Along the route will be beautiful views of Wat Chai Wattanaram and a chance to observe the local lifestyle on the river. Disembark at Wat Kasatra pier and visit the ruined temples and towers in Ayutthaya Historical Park. Don’t forget to find the face of Buddha peeking out from its entanglement of tree roots! Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 4. Bangkok – Chiang Rai (B, D)

Depart for Bangkok Airport to catch a domestic flight to Chiang Rai. Arrive at the Four Season’s Golden Triangle Camp pier and continue on a traditional long-tail boat to your Luxury Camp. Leisure time ‘till dinner to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding region. The bar area, complete with a double-sided fireplace in the middle, is perfect for pre-dinner drinks. Dinner served at Nong Yao Restaurant, an open-air, thatched-roof pavilion by the riverbank offering Thai, Laotian, Burmese and western cuisine. In keeping with the Camp's atmosphere, guests have the option to dine privately, or seated together at a long family-style table. Overnight at Golden Triangle.

Day 5. Chiang Rai (B, L, D)

Your morning wake up call invites you to breakfast at Nongyao Restaurant. Then we’ll meet with professional mahouts and learn to care for and “drive” an elephant. Lunch is followed by leisure time until the afternoon cruise down the majestic Mekong River. Onboard a traditional longboat we’ll head to the border area where Thailand, Myanmar and Laos come together. Then it’s time to get on board a Songtaew truck and Tuk Tuk to visit a local market and the ancient Chedi Luang temple. Return to the resort. Time to enjoy your 90-minute Spa Experience using mountain botanicals and local therapies at the open-air Salas - the height of luxury in the hills. Sundowner Cocktails at Burma Bar followed by dinner at Nong Yao Restaurant. Overnight at Golden Triangle.

Day 6.Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai (B)

Breakfast and farewell to the camp. Meet with guide for transfer to Chiang Mai. Stop at Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. Coffee break at Chivit Thammada, a lovely coffee house in an English garden style the by Mae Ping River. Visit to the Mae Krachan hotsprings before arriving in Chiang Mai. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 7. Chiang Mai (B, L, D)

We’ll greet the early morning with a hike up Doi Suthep Mountain, in time to buy offerings and join the locals for the daily alms giving ceremony, a serene Buddhist procession of barefoot monks collecting alms. (Breakfast will be provided by the hotel to take with us.) Continue up the mountain to Wat Doi Suthep and climb the 309 steps of the Golden Naga staircase to reach the stunning golden pagodas. In the nearby forests the 14th century Wat Umong is a magical, charming meditation retreat. Walk through its mysterious tunnels to reach the viharn (main building) of the temple for your own private blessing ceremony. Continue to Wat Suan Dok with its whitewashed Lanna stupas. Finish this lovely morning with a delicious bowl of Khao Soy. This famous Northern Thai dish is a combination of coconut cream, crispy noodles and plenty of spice that is sure to delight! Spend the afternoon at leisure. Our evening tour commences at a local Buddhist temple to join monks for their nightly sutras. Light some incense or burn a candle to immerse yourself in this peaceful experience. From here, it’s time for dinner at the beautiful Rachamankha Hotel. Afterwards, we’ll drive to the lively Waroros market. This night market is the hub of local life and bursting with fresh flowers, handicrafts, and street food stalls. Your guide will explore the market with you. Sample some local Thai sweets to finish off this magical night.Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 8. Chiang Mai (B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a full day trip to the home of a local family to experience a true taste of Thai life. Slip into a pair of ‘fisherman’s pants’ and join Mr. Prapat at his home in Hang Dong to explore traditional local architecture and handicrafts, such as basket weaving that have gone unchanged for centuries. Then it's time to select the fresh ingredients needed to prepare a sumptuous home-cooked meal. Using organic produce, Mr. Prapat and his family will teach guests some techniques and recipes from northern Thai cuisine before sitting down together to enjoy the meal. After lunch, guests can spend the afternoon taking a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood to see some of the local cottage industries. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 9. Chiang Mai – Phuket (B)

Depart for Chiang Mai Airport, flight to Phuket. Upon arrival at Phuket Airport, you will be met by a hotel representative and transfer in a private minivan or luxury sedan to Ao Po Grand Marina Pier in Phuket. Upon arrival at the pier, embark on the hotel’s private speedboat to Six Senses Resort on Koh Yao Noi Island. Overnight at Koh Yao Noi.

Day 10 – 13. Koh Yao Noi (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and a leisurely day spent either at the resort or off discovering the island. Suggested activities include Koh Yao Noi Tour by Tuk Tuk, Nature Bike Trail, and the traditional art of Batik Painting. Overnight on Koh Yao Noi.

Day 14. Koh Yao Noi – Phuket (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and take the hotel speedboat back to Phuket. Continue the hotel’s private transfers to Phuket Airport for the flight to your next destination.
