To see Quba is to see all the colors of nature; green alpine meadows, glistening white capped mountains and deep blue rushing rivers. It boasts waterfalls, canyons, apple orchards, parks and gardens, Turkish baths and medieval fortresses and mosques. Most notable are the Dzhuma and Sakiny-Khanum mosques. Located in the outskirts of Quba is the village of Khanalyg. It draws tourists with its ancient Zoroastrian temple. The Khangali people here are of Albanian origin and have preserved their language and traditions. This small area even has its own laws and regulations.
