Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival in Delhi.
Delhi is the capital city of India. You will be met by our representatives at the airport. Transfer to the hotels. Free time in this ancient, yet cosmopolitan city.
Day 02 Delhi / Jaipur
Start your fabulous Golden Triangle Tour (Delhi, Jaipur, Agra) with an exploration of the glorious city of Delhi. Visit the Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Juma Mosque (XVII C) and Chandni Chowk bazaar. Sightseeing drive to Jaipur "Pink City" . Hotel accommodation.
Day 03 Jaipur
Explore the spectacular Amber Fort. Start with an elephant ride up to the entrance. Then it's on to the Royal Observatory and the gates of the City Palace.
Day 04 Jaipur / Agra
Sightseeing day drive to another fascinating destination - Agra. Stop en route at the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri (the Ghost City). Meet with local handicraftsmen and shop. Accommodation in Agra.
Day 05 Agra.
Enjoy the beauty of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Photo Opportunity.
Day 06 Agra / Khajuraho
Early Morning take 4hrs train to Jhansi, on arrival drive for 4 hrs to Khaduraho, en - route visit ancient site of Orcha. Accommodation in Khajuraho.
Day 07 Khajuraho / Varanasi
Visit the most remarkable and legendary temples of Khajuraho, one of the world's artistic wonders. These temples are dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods and are covered in carvings that are a homage to life and love. Afternoon flight to Varanasi one of India's most sacred cities situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganges. It is the oldest living city in the world, a place for devotion and worship, with hundreds of temples dotting the landscape.
Day 08 Varanasi
Boat ride on the Ganges. Sunrise over the river front from a boat is a spiritual experience Observe the way of life on the Ghats as pilgrims come down to the river. Later enjoy a pleasure trip to Sarnath, 10 km east of Varanasi, one of Buddhism's major centers of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. Visit the deer park and the museum.
Day 09 Varanasi / Delhi
Morning at leisure, afternoon flight for Delhi. Visit Delhi bazaar and handicraft centers for shopping. Farewell Dinner.
