Thoughts as we celebrated 25th travel season in 2019

blog-6

We thank you, our loyal travelers, travel agents and partners for your business! This year was such a great milestone for me and my Central Asia team because we celebrated our 25 years anniversary.

During the last 25 years we have been helping our travelers visit and enjoy the Central Asia countries.

blog2We have worked with travelers from all over the world but the top seven came from the USA, England, Australia, Belgium, Mexico, Argentina, and Israel. Our guests loved us for our unique cultural discovery experiences, luxury hotels, adventure excursions, culinary experiences, and shopping opportunities.  Our most traveled tour itineraries are: The Treasures of Central Asia Stans, Uzbekistan Cultural and Jewish Heritage Tours, Hidden Riches of Caucasus, and the Uzbekistan Family Tour.

During their travel in Central Asia, Caucasus and Mongolia many travelers participated in local festivals like the Buzkachi Silk & Spice festival, the Navruz New Year Festival or the many Melon and Harvest Festivals held throughout the year in Uzbekistan, Naadam festival in Mongolia, Pomegranate and Carpet festivals in Azerbaijan, wine festival in Georgia, Horse festival in Kyrgyzstan. Our guests  had cultural experiences in the remotest Karaul Bazaar and saw the spectacular Tudakul Lake and now this place is open for public for 2020.  In  Chor Bakr / Sumitan village the travelers have seen  the process of Silkworm breeding and carpet making in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, or stayed in farms next to the Kopet Dag Mountains and enjoyed horseback riding in Turkmenistan. During the family tours travelers visited different families in Central Asia and Caucasus to play sport with locals, participate in a local wedding, visited schools, even they cooked traditional meals like Uzbek somsa and Georgian khachapuri.

Through feedback, our travelers have inspired us to create more than ten iconic itineraries to Central Asia and Caucasus leading to us being awarded by the travel associations and top US magazines.

As this year draws to a close, we thank our clients for their past and future business as well as their trust.

We also thank our network of hardworking travel agents who have participated in our educational presentations and recommend our many Silk Road destinations. They help their VIP guests create amazing memories in Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Caucasus.

zulya travel showIn the New Year our Silk Road Treasure Tours team will be participating in the New York Times Travel Show, Wendy Perrin Trusted Specialist Summit, Conde Nast Traveler Annual summit and PURE life experiences to get more ideas to make our travelers visits special in our destinations. There will also be several presentations by Silk Road Treasure Tours at top travel agencies throughout  the US. We now have more than 50 top travel agents who have special access to our insider information which they use to create custom tours for their guests.

Many universities and Alumni Associations invited us to give our lectures and travel opportunities to the Central Asia Stan destinations and we have already scheduled several educational groups going in 2020.

We are starting a new decade and the travel infrastructure is developing. We see a new trend developing, guests are now sharing with me why they would like to go to the Silk Road... not only they want to explore and enjoy holidays but want to make an impact!

Many travelers who have been in our tours this year have booked their 2020 tours to our other new tours to Southeast Asia, Morocco, Mongolia. We also see interest in under-the-radar places in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam, Georgia and Turkmenistan!

In 2020 our team of Silk Road Treasure Tours Guides will continue their amazing work giving travelers a lifetime of memories. Our team and guides make our trips exceptional; they are proud to tour their homeland giving clients amazing experiences. With our award winning team our guides will provide VIP access to our fascinating sites saving our travelers time by skipping the lines.
