Day 1 Bishkek
Arrival in Bishkek. Accommodation. Sightseeing tour. Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, Statue of Manas, Victory Square, the Central Museum, the Panfilov Park and the bazaar. Accommodation at hotel.
Day 02 Bishkek –Kochkor
Sightseeing day drive to Kochkor ( 230 km ). Visit Burana tower on the way. Arrival. Afternoon visit the biggest felt making NGO “Altyn-Kol” (Golden Hand) and experience Kyrgyz felt carpet making. Accommodation in Kyrgyz family.
Day 03 Kochkor – Naryn
Drive to Naryn ( 160 km ). Explore the city on your own the rest of the day. Naryn is located 200 km away from Chinese border and from ancient times travelers used to stop for a night in Naryn. Overnight in the guest house.
Day 04 Naryn – Tash-Rabat
Transfer to Tash-Rabat ( 115 km ) towards the Chinese border. Tash Rabat Caravan Saray (XI century) served as a fortress for travelers along the Great Silk Road. Discover the culture and traditions of Kyrgyz people, Listen to the national music and taste authentic cuisine. Overnight in yurt (Kyrgyz dwelling).
Day 05 Tash-Rabat
Sightseeing tour and Photo opportunity at Chatyr-Kul Lake. Enjoy picnic. Overnight in yurt.
Day 06 Tash-Rabat – Naryn- Son-Kul Lake
Transfer to Naryn ( 115 km ). Lunch. Drive to Son-Kul Lake ( 180 km ). This is a remote mountain lake situated on a treeless, high mountain plateau ( 3016 m ) where shepherds bring the livestock in summer time and establish a camp where they will live – setting up their yurts. Overnight in yurt.
Day 07 Son-Kul Lake – Chui River
Sightseeing day drive to Chui river ( 250 km ). Enjoy rafting on Chui River. Overnight in the tent camp.
Day 08 Chui River - Konorchak Canyons - Chui River
Explore Konorchak canyons. They were formed about one and a half to two million years ago and since that time erosion by wind and water has turned a plain plateau into gigantic stone pillars, some of which are 400- 500 meters high. Picnic. Returnto the tent camp
Day 09 Chui River – Issyk-Kul
Drive to Issyk-Kul Lake ( 100 km ). Accommodation. Discover Issyk-Kul’s beauty. Free at leisure.
Day 10 Issyk-Kul – Cholpon-Ata Drive to Cholpon-Ata ( 25 km )
Enjoy watching Kyrgyz national horse games where the best riders of Issyk-Kul valley will participate (during festival season, summer). Visit local historical museum and an open-air petroglyph (rock painting) gallery.
Day 11: Issyk-Kul – Jety-Oguz
Drive to Jety-Oguz gorge ( 200 km ). Display of making felt, contest of folklore groups (traditional music, songs and dance), national cuisine contest (Dungan, Kyrgyz, Russian-Ukrainian, Tartar, Uigur-Uzbek cuisines. Overnight in yurt.
Day 12: Jety-Oguz
Enjoy your free time at the gorge, ride a horse or experience the beauty of Jety-Oguz waterfall . Overnight in yurt.
Day 13: Jety-Oguz – Bokombaevo
Drive to Bokombaevo ( 100 km ). Eagle show hunting upon arrival to village. Overnight in Kyrgyz family.
Day 14: Bokombaevo – Bishkek
Transfer to Bishkek ( 270 km ). Accommodation. Visit handicraft centers and bazaar . Farewell dinner.
Day 15: Bishkek – Airport
