Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival-Tehran

Arrival in Tehran. You will be met by our escort guide and driver and will be transferred to the hotel for accommodation

Day 02: Tehran

Amidst the Alborz Mountains, discover Tehran, the capital of the country. Visit the Shah Palaces Nyavaran and Saad Abad. Then we shall explore the Archaeological and Islamic Art Museum ( the finest museum in Iran) where you'll view a collection of ancient Persian civilization. Take a break and savor a cup of Iranian coffee, rest in Park-e Shahr (City Park), enjoy a delicious kebab. Tehran is a feast for the senses and the Bazaars are famous for their chaotic blend of vendors and stalls selling every manner of goods, from heady spices and henna, brass and silver ornaments to regional ceramics and famous Persian rugs. Enjoy Gulistan Palace.
For unbelievable excitement, head for Shiraz, a point of high-culture, education, and beauty. This evening we shall take a flight to ancient Shiraz city. Dinner.

Day 03: Shiraz – Persepolise

Explore Shiraz. Shiraz is one of the most important cities of the medieval Islamic world, a place of art and scholars, gardens and nightingales. Situated in the foothills of the Zagros Mountains, its altitude gives it a temperate climate with tree lined avenues and rose gardens. Cyprus trees line the Bagh-e Eram (Garden of Paradise), and the Jahan Nama Garden is similarly elegant. In the older section of town the bulb and pear-shaped domes of its mosques create a picturesque silhouette. The Arg-e Karim Khan, a massive citadel boasting a large pool and wax figurines adorned in traditional Iranian dress dominates the city center. The tombs of Hafez and Sa'di, two of the greatest poets in the Persian literary tradition are here, too. The ruins of the ancient city of Persepolis are only a short drive away. Walk in the footsteps of Kings Darius and Xerxes amidst the remains of colossal buildings, the Hall of 100 Columns, artfully carved friezes and cuneiform inscriptions.

Day 04: Shiraz - Yazd

Drive to Yazd, en route explore the ancient sites and villages. Stop by the colorful small bazaars. Arrival in Yazd.

Day 05: Yazd

Yazd is one of the oldest cities in the world and the holiest city of Zoraastrians.
It is an open air museum city. Marco Polo called this city : The Good and Noble City of Yazd". Today we shall visit Friday Mosque from the 14th century and the silk weaving workshop where exquisite brocades are still made on traditional looms. Then we shall explore beautiful narrow alleys, the highest wind tower of city. Yazd is also famous for its handicrafts. This a great opportunity to choose the best ceramics and rugs.
Day 06: Yazd- Isfahan
Visit the temple of Zoroastrians where sacred fire has been kept alive for hundreds of years You will learn more about Zoroastrism which was the main religion before Islam religion was introduced. Then we shall explore the Towers of Silence located outskirts of the city, which was a burial place for Zoroastrians. Late afternoon drive to Isfahan, en route we will visit Nareen Castle and the old caravanserai in Meibod. Arrival in Isfahan

Day 07: Isfahan

They say "Esfahan nesf-e jahan ast" (Esfahan is half the world). It is famous for its majestic bridges, fine carpets and inviting hospitality!
Sightseeing tour around Imam square, the huge open square in centre of Isfahan with four monuments at four sides including Imam mosque covered inside and outside with intricate turquoise tiles, the Sheikh Lotfollah mosque which contains some of the best mosaics from 17th century, then explore Ali Ghapoo Palace which was the first skyscraper in Iran and Isfahan bazaar where you can visit the workshop of artists who paint miniature sometimes on bone. .Afternoon visit the Armenian quarter of Jolfa, Vank cathedral, Friday mosque and Shaking Minarets . We will also visit Si-o-Se Pol (thirty three) and khajoo bridges over zayandrud, relax in one of the traditional tea houses, drink tea and smoke Persian water pipe.
Day 08 : Isfahan-Kashan- Abyaneh- Tehran
Drive to Abyaneh, en route we will visit Fin complex in Kashan, a city well known for carpet. Then we will visit Abyaneh an ancient fascinating village with its colourfully dressed inhabitants and mud brick houses, where little has changed for several centuries. Then toward Tehran we will visit Hazret Masomeh Shrine and Quran museum.
Upon arrival in Tehram we shall visit Imam Khomeini Shrine. Farewell dinner.
